The Hang Seng Index closed up 0.37%, with gold stocks leading the gains
The Hang Seng TECH Index rose by 1.11%. Gold stocks led the gains, with CHIFENG GOLD up about 9% and Shandong Gold up about 5%. Semiconductor stocks also rose, with HUA HONG SEMI up about 5%
