World's largest meatpacker JBS aims to double output of new Saudi plant

JBS, the world's largest meat company, plans to double production at its new chicken processing plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by the end of 2026. This initiative supports Saudi Arabia's goal to enhance local food production and reduce food import reliance. The plant, operational since last year, has already quadrupled JBS's production capacity in the region. JBS has invested $85 million in Saudi Arabia since 2021 and exports products to neighboring countries. The Seara brand, introduced in 2021, is now among the top three brands in Saudi Arabia.
