Hong Kong Airlines has reached a deep AI strategic cooperation with Alibaba's Fliggy and Qianwen App

Hong Kong Airlines announced a deep AI strategic cooperation with Fliggy and Qianwen App, both under Alibaba (09988.HK), becoming one of the first airlines to connect with the "AI Ticket Booking" feature of Qianwen App, and will launch exclusive ticket benefits through Fliggy AI and Qianwen App channels.

Previously, Qianwen App had fully integrated with Alibaba's ecosystem businesses such as Taobao, Alipay, and Fliggy, achieving AI shopping functionality. Hong Kong Airlines stated that the AI cooperation with Fliggy will also expand to Qianwen App, thereby broadening sales channels. Users can make requests in natural language through Fliggy AI or Qianwen App, and the AI can understand intentions and analyze needs, automatically calling real-time data to filter the best options, providing intelligent recommendations and one-click booking services.

Based on technologies such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent Protocol (A2A), Hong Kong Airlines expects that this AI functionality will be integrated into mobile assistants, smart wearables, and other devices in the future, enabling voice itinerary planning anytime and anywhere
