National Bureau of Statistics: Profits of large-scale equipment manufacturing industry will increase by 7.7% in 2025 compared to the previous year

In 2025, the profits of the equipment manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 7.7% compared to the previous year, contributing 2.8 percentage points to the profit growth of all industrial enterprises above designated size, making it the sector with the strongest driving effect on profit growth of industrial enterprises above designated size. The profits of the equipment manufacturing industry accounted for 39.8% of the total profits of industrial enterprises, an increase of 2.6 percentage points from the previous year, further optimizing the profit structure of industrial enterprises. From an industry perspective, among the eight major categories of the equipment manufacturing industry, seven industries saw profit growth compared to the previous year, with the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, and electronics industries experiencing double-digit profit growth rates of 31.2% and 19.5%, respectively; the specialized equipment, electrical machinery, and general equipment industries maintained profit growth rates of 5.7%, 4.9%, and 4.2%, respectively
