The Cheng Yu-tong family trust increased its stake in Chow Tai Fook's parent company to 90.52%
The Cheng Yu-tong family has voluntarily disclosed two trusts, revealing changes in the controlling company of Chow Tai Fook (Holding) Ltd (CTFH), the parent company of New World Development (00017.HK).
The two trusts originally held an 81.03% stake in CTFH through Chow Tai Fook Capital in November 2023, which was later increased to 90.52% on December 5, 2025, representing an increase of 9.49 percentage points.
When Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (01929.HK) disclosed its shareholding on December 5 last year, it showed changes in the controlling structure of CTFH within the family trusts, consistent with this disclosure
