Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The first senior officials' meeting of APEC in 2026 will be held in Guangzhou
According to CCTV News, on January 28, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jia Kun hosted a regular press conference. A reporter asked about the preparation for the first APEC Senior Officials' Meeting to be held in Guangzhou this February. Guo Jia Kun stated that the APEC Senior Officials' Meeting is the main channel for preparing outcomes for the Leaders' Meeting, held 4-5 times a year. As the host of APEC in 2026, China will hold the first APEC Senior Officials' Meeting and related meetings in Guangzhou from February 1 to 10. This is the first official event of APEC China Year
