Tencent and Bupa Hong Kong announced the launch of Hong Kong's first "palm-scanning" registration service for the local medical community. This innovative solution aims to provide customers with a smarter, faster, and more seamless medical experience, further enhancing the hygiene and convenience of the consultation environment.

Bupa's "Express Check-in" contactless registration system was officially launched today (29th) at 20 designated "Bupa Medical Network" clinics across Hong Kong, allowing customers to enjoy medical services more conveniently. Among them, the flagship medical center located in Central and clinics in Tsim Sha Tsui and Admiralty are equipped with palm print scanning technology powered by Tencent's PalmAI technology; other clinics can utilize the QR code "quick registration" service.

The service combines dual biometric identification, allowing customers to simply place their palm on the high-precision scanner at the registration station, completing the registration process instantly without the need to present documents, remove masks, or make contact with staff
