ST Engineering to design and develop new satellites in Singapore

ST Engineering announced plans to design and develop a constellation of four radar satellites in Singapore, enhancing the city-state's space capabilities. This initiative, revealed at the Space Summit during the Singapore Airshow 2026, includes the Nebula laser communications demonstrator and the NeuSAR-2 constellation, aimed for deployment by 2030. The satellites will support broadband coverage and environmental monitoring, with capabilities for near-instantaneous data transmission. ST Engineering also introduced software solutions for managing orbital congestion and environmental monitoring, alongside launching its largest unmanned cargo aircraft.
