Uber plans to launch Robotaxi autonomous taxi services in Hong Kong this year
Ride-hailing platform Uber announced plans to launch Robotaxi autonomous taxi services in Hong Kong within this year, making it the first market in Asia to have Robotaxi services.
The company plans to roll out Robotaxi services in 10 markets this year, in addition to Hong Kong, it will expand to Madrid, Spain, Zurich, Switzerland, and Houston, USA.
However, the company did not disclose the specific launch time for the service, only stating that it will collaborate with previously announced partners, including Baidu Group (09888.HK) and WERIDE (00800.HK)
