Former Vice President of BANK OF CHINA, Lin Jingzhen, was expelled from the party and dismissed from public office

With the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission have conducted a case review and investigation into Lin Jingzhen, former member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Bank of China Limited, for serious violations of discipline and law.

The investigation found that Lin Jingzhen had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, privately stored, read, and sent books with serious political issues; ignored the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations, illegally accepted gifts, participated in banquets and travel arrangements that could affect the impartial execution of public duties, and improperly accepted travel services provided by others, as well as entering private clubs in violation of regulations; failed to report personal matters as required, sought benefits for others in employee recruitment and other work while accepting property; breached the bottom line of integrity by illegally owning shares in unlisted companies and having others pay expenses that should have been paid by himself; completely disregarded legal and disciplinary boundaries, distorted credit powers into tools for personal gain, engaged in power-for-money transactions, used his position to benefit others in loan financing and other aspects, and illegally accepted huge amounts of property.

Lin Jingzhen seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes, and after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he did not restrain himself, and his actions were of a serious nature with a bad influence, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and other relevant provisions, after research by the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, it was decided to expel Lin Jingzhen from the Party; cancel the benefits he enjoyed according to regulations; confiscate his illegal gains; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for legal review and prosecution, along with the involved property
