Xiaomi launches the tactile-driven robot model "TacRefineNet"

Xiaomi Technology stated on its WeChat official account that Xiaomi-W (01810.HK) has recently announced the phased research results of its robotics team in the field of embodied intelligence, "TacRefineNet." This robot can achieve millimeter-level pose adjustments using only touch, without the need for vision or three-dimensional models of objects.

According to the team, TacRefineNet can perform precise grasping adjustments of various objects in multiple automotive factories, whether in simulated or real environments. For diverse imprecise grasping, the average positional error can be rapidly iterated down to the millimeter level after adjustments. Relevant technical details and experimental videos have been made public, and more follow-up work will be launched soon
