6 Siemens SGT-800 Gas Turbines will provide 1/3 of first gigawatt of power at Project Matador, requiring a 160+ ton crane and over 36 oversized/heavy lifts, with transport to site needing over 400 specialized container chassis semi trucks.
Six SGT-800 gas turbines are set to contribute around 33% of the initial one gigawatt of power generated at Project Matador. The transportation and installation of the gas turbine power equipment entailed the utilization of a 160+ ton crane and more than 36 specialized oversized/heavy lifts. Moreover, transporting the equipment to the site necessitated over 400 specialized container chassis semi-trucks.
