
MEDIALINK GROUP invested tens of millions to host "CON-CON HONG KONG," hoping to attract around 30,000 participants
MEDIALINK GROUP (02230.HK) will hold the Asian Cross-Border IP Trend Culture Event "CON-CON HONG KONG" from April 4 to 5. The event will involve multiple elements, including over 40 booths, experiential activities, a black box theater, and performances, featuring several Japanese and local IPs, including "Mobile Suit Gundam," "Jujutsu Kaisen," CASETiFY, and "The Outlaws." There will also be immersive experience activities provided by SONY and J.LEAGUE, as well as a series of signing events and meet-and-greets.
MEDIALINK GROUP (02230.HK) Chairman and CEO Zhao Xiaoyan stated that the event will cost several tens of millions, with an internal goal of achieving break-even. The two-day event is expected to attract around 30,000 attendees, including audiences from the Greater Bay Area, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Zhao Xiaoyan mentioned the hope to create a Hong Kong original event IP to connect the global IP supply chain, while also incorporating educational and social value elements. She stated that in the future, they will fully own this event brand and hope to promote the event to overseas markets such as Thailand
