
Hong Kong Stock Exchange Reports Strong IPO Performance
The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) has reported robust performance for newly listed stocks. According to Ming Pao, data from Dealogic and Bloomberg indicates that initial public offerings (IPOs) raising $100 million or more have seen significant gains. On average, these stocks experienced a 23.8% increase in share price on their first day of trading. Over the course of a month, the average increase reached 30.7%, marking the best performance in the past 20 years.
