BNP Paribas: Optimistic about gold reaching $6,000 per ounce, expects gold-silver ratio to rise
David Wilson, the head of commodity strategy at BNP Paribas, stated that as macroeconomic and geopolitical risks persist, gold prices could rise to $6,000 per ounce by the end of the year, and the gold-silver ratio will also increase. He noted that although the gold-silver ratio is still below the two-year average, it has already rebounded. "I believe there is still room for further decoupling in the gold-silver trend," he said. "For me, the advantage of gold is that it provides risk protection that silver cannot."
