Singapore has launched a series of initiatives to leverage artificial intelligence (AI), including tax reductions for businesses and support for employees to learn AI skills. Prime Minister Jensen Huang announced that Singapore will establish a "National Artificial Intelligence Council," which he will chair.

In terms of measures, Singapore will launch a new "AI Pioneer" program to support companies looking to transform their businesses using artificial intelligence. Support will be tailored to the needs of each company, including business transformation and employee training.

The country will also expand its corporate innovation program, providing a 400% tax deduction for eligible expenditures. Such expenditures will be extended to include AI spending, with an annual cap of SGD 50,000 (USD 39,654) for the years 2027 and 2028
