Mustafa Suleyman, the artificial intelligence chief at Microsoft (MSFT.US), warned in an interview with the Financial Times that artificial intelligence may replace most white-collar jobs. Jobs such as lawyers, accountants, project managers, or marketing personnel are likely to be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months, putting nearly all professionals who work in front of computers at risk, leading to significant changes in the future labor market.

Suleyman also stated that Microsoft is seizing a larger share of the enterprise market through "professional-grade artificial general intelligence (AGI)," which can nearly perform all tasks of human professionals, enabling companies to provide powerful AI tools to execute the routine tasks of knowledge workers
