
"Commodity" Uncertainty of Trump's Tariffs Increases, Gold Prices Reach Three-Week High
After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that President Trump's earlier tariff measures were invalid, he raised tariffs, leading to a surge in safe-haven demand, with gold prices rising nearly 2% on Monday to reach their highest level in three weeks.
Spot gold rose by $103 or 2% to $5,210 per ounce. April futures gold rose by $147 or 3% to $5,228 per ounce.
March silver prices increased by 5% to $86.5 per ounce.
March copper prices fell by 1.2% to $5.77 per pound.
April platinum prices fell by 1.3% to $2,147 per ounce.
March palladium prices fell by 0.2% to $1,776 per ounce
