CITIC Securities published a report indicating that last Monday (16th), several robotics companies made a concentrated appearance at the Spring Festival Gala, showcasing excellent motion control and autonomous operation capabilities. The balance control, dynamic response, and stability have significantly improved, and this year marks the beginning of a policy-intensive support phase for robots. The firm noted that Hong Kong stocks to watch include UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK), DOBOT (02432.HK), GEEKPLUS-W (02590.HK), and MINTH GROUP (00425.HK), as well as in the broader robotics field, Hesai-W (02525.HK), Soochow Securities Co., Ltd. (02498.HK), and Horizon-W (09660.HK).

The report mentioned that humanoid robots took center stage, becoming the new highlight of the Spring Festival Gala; related technologies are rapidly evolving and will enter a phase of intensive policy support. The content of CCTV's Spring Festival Gala typically reflects the current industrial policy direction, and this year emphasizes a technology-themed gala, with a noticeable increase in the number of robots participating (last year there was only Yushu), reflecting the country's determination to strengthen and expand the humanoid robot industry, currently in a similar initial stage as the new energy vehicle industry chain. It is expected that this year will enter a period of intensive policy support, forming a policy landscape led by national strategy + local implementation support.

CITIC Securities stated that the technical difficulty of the robot demonstrations at this year's Spring Festival Gala is higher than in previous years, with more complex formations, yet still ensuring zero errors. The number of group performance robots has increased, and their multi-machine coordination capabilities have strengthened, reflecting an upgrade in the collective control ability of robots. Taking Yushu as an example, compared to last year, its robots have seen significant improvements in balance control, dynamic response, and stability, with agility enhanced by 5 to 10 times, laying the foundation for the future launch of more practical service robots.
