The Zimbabwe Ministry of Mines announced that all exports of raw minerals and lithium concentrates are immediately suspended until further notice due to the discovery of ongoing misconduct during the export process. The ban applies to all minerals currently in transit and emphasizes that this action is based on national interests.

This morning (26th), the main contract for lithium carbonate in the mainland approached the daily limit, rising over 11%. Hong Kong lithium mining stocks also surged, with Tianqi Lithium (09696.HK) currently reported at HKD 49.42, up 4.04%, with a trading volume of 2.3252 million shares, involving HKD 117 million.
