The Urban Renewal Authority announced the launch of a series of preliminary works for the Kowloon City Kai Tak Road/Sha Po Road Development Plan (KC-015 Project) and the "Kwun Tong Town Centre 2.0" (KTTC 2.0 Project) final phase development, removing uncertainties from the preliminary works, significantly reducing the time developers will need to handle related works after entering the site, and allowing their resources to focus on the design and construction of the buildings.

At this stage, the Urban Renewal Authority is promoting the KC-015 Project through a self-development model and has appointed a contractor to carry out preliminary works such as foundation and basement excavation, with construction expected to start as early as early March.

As for the KTTC 2.0 Project, the Urban Renewal Authority has launched multiple preliminary works in phases. It is expected that by mid-year, road closure measures will be implemented on Tong Yan Street and Yumin Lane to facilitate the underground pipeline diversion works, which are expected to be completed by 2028. Regarding the pedestrian bridge connecting the KTTC 2.0 Project and the MTR elevated platform, the Urban Renewal Authority has submitted relevant drawings and information to the Buildings Department and MTR for approval in order to obtain early approval
