"Hong Kong Stocks" Hang Seng Index opened high, up 334 points, commodity stocks stabilized, Geely and Nio rose

The Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress is held, and U.S. stocks rose the night before (on the 4th), while Hong Kong stocks opened higher today after three consecutive declines. The Hang Seng Index opened up 334 points or 1.3%, at 25,583 points; the National Index opened up 93 points or 1.1%, at 8,577 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index opened up 77 points or 1.6%, at 4,907 points.

Commodity stocks stabilized, with Shandong Gold (01787.HK) and ZHAOJIN MINING (01818.HK) opening up 1.8% and 1%, respectively, and Zijin Mining (02899.HK) opening up 2.4%. Minmetals Resources (01208.HK) and Jiangxi Copper (00358.HK) opened up 2% and 2.6%, respectively, while aluminum stocks such as Hongqiao (01378.HK) opened up 3.3%.

In the technology sector, Tencent (00700.HK), Alibaba (09988.HK), and NetEase (09999.HK) opened up 0.5% to 0.7%, Meituan (03690.HK) and Kuaishou (01024.HK) opened up 1.7% and 2.2%, respectively, JD.com (09618.HK) opened up 1%, and Baidu (09888.HK) opened flat at 115 yuan. Additionally, SenseTime (00020.HK) and Bilibili (09626.HK) opened up 3.1%, while JD Health (06618.HK) opened up 3.5%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong (01347.HK) opened up 2.9% and 3.8%, respectively.

It is reported that Lenovo (00992.HK) issued a price increase notice, with some computers increasing by over a thousand yuan, and the stock opened up 1.4%. Robotics stocks such as Yujian (02432.HK), UBTECH (09880.HK), and SUTENG (02498.HK) opened up 2.8% to 3.4%. AI stocks such as Zhipu (02513.HK) and MiniMax (00100.HK) opened up 3.1% and 7.8%, respectively.

In the automotive sector, Geely (00175.HK) and Nio (09866.HK) opened up 4% and 5.1%, respectively, BYD (01211.HK) opened up 1.5% at 96.5 yuan, while Xiaomi (01810.HK) and Li Auto (02015.HK) opened up 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively. Leapmotor (09863.HK) and XPeng (09868.HK) opened up 2.6% and 2.5%, respectively.
