Ping An assists the first batch of corporate clients in evacuating from the Middle East danger zone
Ping An (02318.HK) announced that in response to the recent escalation of the situation in the Middle East, it has coordinated its property insurance, life insurance, health insurance, and banking institutions to promptly issue warning information and evacuation suggestions to clients stranded in the Middle East. The Ping An Global Emergency Rescue Service Center has issued 59 potential risk warnings, released 23 risk analysis reports, and responded to client inquiries 52 times in recent days, and has assisted two corporate clients in safely evacuating from the dangerous areas in the Middle East within 24 hours.
Ping An stated that two days ago, a large mainland group called the Ping An Global Emergency Rescue Hotline for assistance. Two of the company's employees were originally scheduled to return to the mainland from the UAE, but due to the conflict, commercial flights were interrupted, and they needed to evacuate overland to Oman for a transfer. Upon receiving the client's evacuation request, Ping An immediately activated its global emergency rescue mechanism. Currently, the two employees have been safely transferred from the dangerous area in the Middle East and are returning to the mainland via a third country with the assistance of Ping An.
This rescue is the only case in which a financial insurance institution in the mainland has assisted corporate employees in safely evacuating from the dangerous areas in the Middle East. Ping An stated that it will continue to monitor the situation of clients in high-risk areas to ensure a prompt response to rescue needs
