The Market Supervision Administration of Shangqiu City, Henan Province, held a collective interview with the operational heads of the local branches of Meituan, JD.com, and Taobao Flash Purchase, requiring the platforms to strengthen their primary responsibility for food safety. It particularly emphasized the need to eliminate "ghost deliveries" and encouraged the implementation of "Internet + Open Kitchen."

The meeting also required each platform to strictly control the access gateway, comprehensively investigate and remove merchants without licenses or with counterfeit licenses; strengthen dynamic verification to ensure consistency between online and offline information; establish a risk control list and exit mechanism, and resolutely delist merchants with serious illegal activities.

The heads of the three platforms subsequently stated that they would immediately conduct self-examination and rectification to fully protect the "safety of citizens' dining."
