Ministry of Civil Affairs: Strengthen the training and education of elderly care service talents and include "Elderly Care Service Specialist" as a new profession

Minister of Civil Affairs Lu Zhiyuan introduced at the meeting the improvement of factor input policies. Collaborating with relevant departments, support will be strengthened in terms of funding, planning, standards, talent, and technology. Guidance will be provided to localities for scientifically planning the layout of elderly care service facilities, formulating national and industry standards for elderly care services, vigorously developing smart elderly care, enhancing the training and education of elderly care service professionals, promoting vocational skill level certification, and including "elderly care service practitioners" as a new profession.
