<p>Kia has officially discontinued the Niro EV, its entry-level electric crossover in the U.S., following a midlife refresh. The facelifted Niro will now only be available as a hybrid, with both the electric and plug-in hybrid versions phased out. The Niro EV, which debuted in 2018, struggled against competitors like the Tesla Model 3 and Chevrolet Bolt EV. Kia will continue to sell remaining inventory but will only offer the EV6 and EV9 models in its U.S. electric lineup moving forward.</p>

- Kia has officially discontinued the Niro EV, which served as its entry-level electric vehicle in the U.S., following the earlier discontinuation of its plug-in hybrid variant.
