Air China will resume weekly flights from Beijing to Pyongyang, tour operator founder says
Air China will resume weekly flights from Beijing to Pyongyang starting March 30, as confirmed by Rowan Beard, co-founder of Young Pioneer Tours. This follows the resumption of passenger train services between China and North Korea, which were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The revival of these services brings hope for a quicker return of tourism to North Korea, which remains largely closed to foreign visitors. The Beijing-Pyongyang train operates four times a week, while a route from Dandong operates daily.
