PANews reported on March 18 that World, a project co-founded by Sam Altman, has launched a developer toolkit called AgentKit, enabling AI agents to carry cryptographic proof backed by real human support. AgentKit integrates the x402 protocol developed by Coinbase and Cloudflare, allowing AI agents to make small payments in stablecoins while verifying that there is a unique human identity behind the agent through the World ID system. AgentKit links multiple agents to the same verified human using zero-knowledge proofs, allowing the platform to set limitations at the identity level, such as a fixed number of free trials or bookings per person per day. The current beta version relies on Orb biometric verification, with plans to expand to credentials such as NFC passports and ID cards in the future
