This is a new type of individual retirement account where eligible children receive an initial contribution of $1,000 from the U.S. federal government. Fink believes this is "a step in the right direction." He also proposed a more ambitious vision: reforming the Social Security system. He suggested investing a portion of social security funds in a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds to achieve higher long-term returns, calling it "a potentially greater lever for wealth creation that is worth serious consideration."
