The three major A-share indices opened higher. The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 3,892 points, up 10 points or 0.3%. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 13,669 points, up 132 points or 1%. The ChiNext Index opened at 3,287 points, up 35 points or 1.1%.
Banking stocks opened higher, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) up 0.1%. China Construction Bank (601939.SH) opened flat. Additionally, CATL (300750.SZ) opened down 1%. BYD (002594.SZ) opened nearly flat.
International oil prices continue to decline, with the three major oil companies, CNOOC (600938.SH), PetroChina (601857.SH), and Sinopec (600028.SH), opening down 1.2%-3%. Oil and gas stocks saw Zhongman Petroleum (603619.SH) open down 4.9%. Shandong Molong (002490.SZ) also opened down 6.3%.
International gold prices rebounded, and gold stocks continued to rise, with Shandong Gold (600547.SH), Zhongjin Gold (600489.SH), and Zhaojin Mining (000506.SZ) opening up 3.7%-5.5%. Zijin Mining (601899.SH) opened up 4%. Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining (600988.SH) rebounded by 2.5%.
China Telecom (601728.SH) opened down 0.9%, with an annual net profit of 33.2 billion yuan, an increase of 0.5% year-on-year, and a final dividend of 9.08 cents.
Fosun Pharma (600196.SH) opened up 2.8%, with an annual net profit of 3.371 billion yuan, an increase of 21.7% year-on-year, and a dividend of 3.9 yuan per 10 shares
