
China's E-commerce Developed Steadily in the First Two Months of This Year
According to information from the Ministry of Commerce, in the first two months of this year, China's e-commerce developed steadily, with digital consumption and industrial e-commerce serving as the primary drivers of growth. Digital consumption remained active, as a series of policies aimed at boosting consumption yielded results in the e-commerce sector. From January to February, national online retail sales of goods and services grew by 9.2%. Smart products on the key monitoring platforms for commerce big data showed remarkable growth, with online retail sales of smart glasses and window cleaning robots rising by 183.5% and 130.8% respectively. Retail sales of tourism and catering, characterized by online booking and offline experiences, grew by 36.1% and 27.3% respectively.
