Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) said Saturday it successfully launched its 85th mission and first dedicated flight for the European Space Agency (ESA) from New Zealand on March 28.



The Electron rocket deployed two &#34;Celeste&#34; satellites into a 510 km low Earth orbit. The mission will test how low Earth orbit satellites can complement Europe's Galileo navigation system and support applications such as autonomous vehicles and emergency services.



Rocket Lab said the launch maintains its record of 100% mission success for national space programs, including NASA, JAXA, KASA, and ESA.



CEO Sir Peter Beck said the mission highlights Electron's precision for constellation deployment. ESA's Francisco-Javier Benedicto Ruiz said the Celeste program could enhance Europe's navigation resilience and enable new services.



The launch was Rocket Lab's sixth of 2026, with more missions planned across commercial, government, and hypersonic programs.
