Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Tencent initially closed down 2%, while Xiaomi, JD.com, Meituan, Alibaba, and PDD fell by at least about 1%. Li Auto rose 0.4%, Xpeng rose 1.1%, and NIO rose 1.2%.
