Canadian miner Capstone Copper Corp. is seeking to sell a copper mine in Mexico to focus its growth efforts in Chile, according to people familiar with the matter. This move adds to a recent wave of transactions involving the red metal (copper). The company has hired Scotiabank to launch the sales process for the Cozamin underground mine, which also produces silver. The mine, reportedly one of Capstone's smaller assets, is valued at about $400 million. (Bloomberg)
