The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Innovation and Technology Development with the Cyberspace Administration of China to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy through technological innovation. The Memorandum covers key areas such as artificial intelligence, cross-border data, and blockchain, with the goal of thoroughly implementing the national "15th Five-Year Plan", supporting Hong Kong's development into an international innovation and technology center, and promoting a new real economy with technological innovation as the mainstay.
