First Batch of Iraqi Oil Exported via Syria Begins Loading
On the 15th, the Syrian Petroleum Company announced that the first batch of Iraqi 're-export' oil began loading at the Banias Port refinery in Syria. With the Strait of Hormuz closed and Iraq's oil exports hindered, transshipment through Syria has become one of the alternative routes.
