CN ANCHU ENERGY and Shenzhen YOANTION signed a memorandum of understanding for potential cooperation on a Japan energy storage project

CN ANCHU ENERGY (02399.HK) announced that on April 16, 2026, the company and Shenzhen YOANTION have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding regarding potential cooperation in the investment, development, management, and operation of various energy storage projects in Japan. Both parties will also explore various possible ways to further enhance the value of these projects, such as securitizing the underlying assets. The potential cooperation is expected to initially cover six energy storage projects located in Japan. The aim of the potential cooperation is to enable the group to develop energy storage businesses in other countries, thereby expanding the energy storage business landscape. Currently, neither party has entered into any legally binding agreements regarding the potential cooperation
