BOC HONG KONG extends service hours for 3 designated branches during the May Day Golden Week

BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK) stated that it will extend the service hours of three designated branches during the May Day Golden Week. The three branches are the Causeway Bay Branch, the Guangdong Road BOC Wealth Management Center, and the Tuen Mun Town Plaza Branch, to accommodate the account opening and wealth management needs of cross-border customers. The banking service center at Hong Kong International Airport will operate year-round.

Liu Saily, Deputy General Manager of the Personal Finance and Wealth Management Department of BOC HONG KONG, stated that during last year's May Day Golden Week, the average daily number of new accounts opened by cross-border customers at BOC HONG KONG increased by over 30% compared to the average daily number for the entire previous year, reflecting that many travelers took the opportunity to open bank accounts while visiting Hong Kong during the holiday
