Ning Hanhao visited the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to introduce Beidu's work

The Director of the Development Bureau, Ning Hanhao, conducted a series of exchanges and visits in Beijing yesterday (20th).

In the morning, Ning Hanhao visited the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, where she held a working meeting with Xie Hui, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Commission, to introduce the work of the SAR government in accelerating the development of the Northern Metropolis and encouraging corporate participation. Ning Hanhao pointed out that to expedite the development of the Northern Metropolis, the SAR government has successively launched multiple measures to implement a diversified development model, including the establishment of a government-owned industrial park company to promote industrial entry and development, as well as the tendering for a pilot "area development" project covering approximately 11 hectares in the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Greater Bay Area at the end of last year. In addition, the SAR government aims to establish exclusive legislation within this year to further facilitate the development of the Northern Metropolis and support industrial operations.

Ning Hanhao expressed gratitude for the support from the Commission and encouraged central enterprises to participate in the development of the Northern Metropolis. She stated that the national "14th Five-Year Plan" clearly supports Hong Kong in accelerating the construction of the Northern Metropolis, and Hong Kong must seize the opportunity to actively align with national strategic requirements, transforming central support into tangible results that promote high-quality development in Hong Kong and improve people's livelihoods.
