JPMorgan Says China's Property Market Nearing Turning Point, Will Boost Stock Rally

Rajiv Batra, a Singapore-based strategist at JPMorgan, stated that the property market recovery in Hong Kong is spreading to major mainland cities, while the wealth effect from the rebound in China's stock market is appearing with a lag and helping to revive housing demand. "After five years of correction, early signs of recovery have emerged in China's real estate sector in March, possibly approaching a turning point," Batra said. "We are relatively optimistic that China will outperform other emerging markets."
