The parent vehicle utilizes an 800-volt high-voltage extended-range platform, offering a combined range of over 1,000 kilometers.</p><p>The parent vehicle can charge the aircraft while driving or parked, supporting five to six flights. Drivers in China only need a standard Class C driver's license to operate the vehicle on the ground.</p><p>The company is seeking to roll out the product, which has been in development for 13 years, globally and is currently in talks with markets including the Middle East, Indonesia, and Malaysia, He said during a media event at the Auto Show.</p><p>He added that the company has already begun developing a second-generation mass-producible flying car. The new generation will aim to meet the demands of overseas markets such as Europe and the US, as well as the domestic Chinese market.</p><p>Aridge is steadily advancing its mass production goals, having completed the roll-out of its pilot production batch at its Guangzhou factory in November 2025.
