Parker, age 55, joins Nvidia after spending the last 26 years at Microsoft, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer in the Worldwide Sales &amp; Solutions unit. </p> <p>Parker also led Microsoft's partner sales and solutions teams during his tenure at the technology giant. Typically, field operations involve business activities and services performed away from company's central office. At Nvidia, this includes mobile teams, on-site technicians, and field sales representatives. Nvidia continues to expand sales of its  microchips and processors around the world. </p> <h2><strong>Parker's Compensation at Nvidia</strong></h2> <p>Parker's compensation package includes an annual base salary of $1 million, a sign-on bonus of $5 million, and annual variable compensation of $1.5 million. He will also receive Nvidia stock options worth up to $35 million that vest over the next four years. </p> <p>Parker's appointment follows the announced retirement of Ajay K. Puri, a 21-year Nvidia executive who notified the company of his intention to retire on June 28, 2026. Puri is expected to remain with the company in a senior advisory role during the transition.</p></div>
