The transaction is the fourth time Fields has bought TSM stock over the last 10 months. Here are the other trades:

The congressman has bought Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) stock in 2026, leaving out Amazon.com and Tesla among the popular group.
The purchase of Taiwan Semiconductor stock alongside the Magnificent Seven could show bullishness on the company and the overall semiconductor market. TSM stock is up 27% year-to-date in 2026. Fields also owns shares of Nvidia, Micron and Advanced Micro Devices.

Fields has spent millions of dollars buying up Magnificent Seven stocks, with purchases of six of the seven stocks over the last year, leaving out only Tesla from the shopping list.
In recent months, Fields has bought more of some of the stocks, along with also adding other names like Netflix, Micron and Advanced Micro Devices to his portfolio.
