Not gonna preach. You should already know. I’m not someone you should copy. Portfolio health check? Pretty positive. Watching for that correction, though in the long run these companies have survived decades and demonstrated adaptability. I still stand behind my original thesis: we’re gonna need more computers than oil. And yes, although we need electricity to run these systems, oil isn’t our only source of power. I will be dipping my toes into HK soon. No points for guessing which stock. Should be obvious by now.
$Roundhill Memory ETF(DRAM.US)
$Dell Tech(DELL.US)
$Lenovo Group(LNVGY.US)
I make adjustments to my portfolio when necessary.
My investments can be quite temporary.
Some lyrics have meanings that inspire me. Like Clockwork.
“Holding on for much too long is fear of letting go.”
Because not everything that’s going up keeps going up, you know.
Like Sam once said, “You gotta watch that. All the time.”
Just thoughts and personal opinions.
We all have our ideals and principles.
We want a future for ourselves, society and our children.
I used to think I’d only invest in things I believed in.
I thought I would only put my money into greener companies. I thought I would never invest in a company that makes weapons of war.
We have developed complex systems, and strive to improve what we can. Each society needs representation, so we elect leaders among woman and man.
Then one thing leads to another, and ‘Defence’ can be used as ‘Attack’. Guards can become the Invaders. Many do not make it back.
Passenger airliners get shot down. Bombs land on school children ‘by mistake’. People starve as the conflict drags on and War leaves only Death in its wake.
But if we don’t build and keep weapons, how would we defend and protect ourselves and our own? Would you rather see your enemy dead and defeated, or your children all fully grown?
The rhetoric and words that leaders use has always framed war in a positive light, to make us believe that we needed to win, and convince us we needed to fight.
But I don’t believe what they say anymore. Broken promises are no longer funny. In case you didn’t know and no one’s told you yet, it has always been about money.
Peace to you and your family.
Happy Vesak Day. ☸️
My instincts regarding $Roundhill Memory ETF(DRAM.US)were correct. The idea behind it makes complete sense. More AI = more computers = more chips, more memory needed. Unless you believe people will stop using or needing computers in the future. Which probably won’t happen because they haven’t found Sarah Connor yet.
Nice run but it’s time for me to go.
Adjustments have been made to the portfolio. Liquidated the flat-liners and repositioned my holdings for a 🏃♂️ 🐂
$AMD(AMD.US)$Intel(INTC.US)
$Intel(INTC.US)Gonna TP because why the hell not?
I had to liquidate most of $Western Digital(WDC.US) because of !$?@€£ so my cost price went up as I spent 3 weeks looking at red numbers.
Woke up this morning to see this. TGIF. Hope y’all have a great weekend! I might not even go to work today…
$Micron Tech(MU.US)looks like a bullish day ahead. Let’s hope this keeps up for the rest of the year and many more years to come. Hehe.😝
Together we can end world hunger.
Apparently I make miracles… by waiting till the last minute before guessing. 😏
🟡 Meta ($Meta Platforms(META.US))
Why? Uniquely positioned compared to the other three choices. Less dependent on raw materials for what they do, I suppose. As far as I know (which isn’t much), they don’t make anything you can physically touch. Everything is in the cloud. Probably have less costs to be concerned about but what do I know? I’m just an old fool who doesn’t like Facebook and the scammy ads that have been plaguing it lately. Providing a platform for criminal/dubious/unethical activity and failing to address it effectively is irresponsible.
It’s been only 6 weeks since I first started buying this. 🤯$iShares Silver Tr(SLV.US)
I like silver very much. So I bought some.
