Week 6 - final post for this series!

Surprised that the index is up so much this year, reaffirming that it’s difficult to beat the index. I intend to double down on index investing when more funds are available.

Week 5 - no changes in holdings

Did not buy/sell any positions in the past week. NVDA released its earnings last night / this morning SGT with great results, beating estimates and raising forward guidance. I have conviction in NVDA and will be holding this for awhile.

Week 4 - exciting times this week with Trump visiting China!

Pretty interesting to see the boost in china-related stocks with Trump’s visit to China this week. Looking forward to what comes out from this meeting and their discussion! In the meantime, staying focused on index investing.

Week 3 - conviction in index investing

Started my longbridge account not too long ago and with the recent market highs, my QQQM position is now up 13%! Which way surpassed my expectations. I will continue to do index investing while looking out for good undervalued names out there! Looking to hold long term :)

Week 2 - in the midst of Big Tech earning season!

With solid results from Google, Amazon, and debatedly Meta, Microsoft (given that they are down post market after earnings release), the QQQ index is also doing well! Looking forward to Apple’s results post market today and Nvidia’s next month. On the SG side, DBS and Sheng Siong also announced strong results.

Week 1 - my first post here!

I have been a fan of buying the index and hence the larger proportion in QQQM. Got some NVDA and AAPL from longbridge as part of cash deposit + trade execution and looking to hold for future growth! Looking forward to the sharings by others over the next couple of weeks too!
