Midday Review: The ChiNext Index fell 1.10% in the first half of the day, with over 4,600 stocks in the entire market declining
The three major indices collectively fell in early trading. By the lunch break, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.86%, the Shenzhen Component Index was down 1.01%, the ChiNext Index was down 1.10%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index was down 0.99%. The total market turnover for the half-day was 805.8 billion yuan, an increase of 43.2 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 4,600 stocks in the market were in the red. In terms of sectors, solid-state batteries, PCB concepts, and the oil sector saw the largest gains; while nuclear fusion, military industry, and weight loss drug sectors experienced the largest declines. On the market, the solid-state battery sector led the gains, with NUODE, XTEMD, and FENGYUAN hitting the daily limit. The stablecoin concept was partially active, with Dongxin HePing hitting the daily limit, and Chutianlong and Annie shares rising over 5%. AI hardware stocks saw significant gains, with Yihua New Materials, Zhongjing Electronics, and Kaiwang Technology hitting the daily limit, while the nuclear power sector faced significant declines, with HeDuan Intelligent and Zhonghe Technology hitting the daily limit, and HaHuan HuTong falling nearly 15%. Weight loss drug concept stocks collectively adjusted, with Changshan Pharmaceutical hitting the daily limit and Hanyu Pharmaceutical falling over 10%
