Dr. Zhengtang Zhao is Independent Non-Executive Director of Baige Online Digital Technology Co. Ltd. from June 2026. Dr. Zhao is Director of Haixia Goldenbridge Insurance Co. Ltd. from June 25, 2021. Mr. Zhao is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a doctoral degree and is an associate professor. Formerly served as the Party Branch Secretary of the Department of Finance, School of Economics, Xiamen University and Deputy Director of the Supervision Department of Xiamen University. serves as Associate Professor, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, School of Economics, Xiamen University and Executive Vice Dean of the Institute of Financial Culture, Xiamen University. Also serves as a member of the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate Education in Insurance, a director of the China Insurance Society, a member of the Xiamen Local Finance Society, a member of the Xiamen Medical Insurance Society and Director of the Xiamen University Examination Center for the Chinese Actuary Professional Qualification. Dr. Zhao received his bachelor’s degree in economics (insurance major) and a master’s degree in finance from Hunan University in the PRC in June 2000 and December 2002, respectively and a PhD degree in economics (finance major) from Xiamen University in the PRC in June 2005.
