SK Hynix plans to introduce ADR fundraising to South Korea around July 15
On July 7th, it was reported that South Korean chip giant SK Hynix is expected to introduce US dollar funds into South Korea around July 15th, and will convert some of the funds raised through the issuance of American Depositary Receipts into Korean won. SK Hynix launched its US stock issuance plan on the 6th, aiming to raise 43 trillion won. Although the ADR issuance is priced in US dollars, SK Hynix previously stated that it would use at least part of the raised funds to build two new factories in South Korea and purchase chip manufacturing equipment
