The main shorted stocks include Xiaomi Corporation, Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, Ping An, Alibaba, and INNOVENT BIO, with short selling ratios of 18.7%, 26.3%, 33.2%, 9.5%, and 36.7%, respectively

The Hang Seng Index closed up 0.58%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.84%. Insurance stocks led the gains, with Ping An rising nearly 7% and China Life up over 5%. Baidu Group rose more than 5%, leading the tech stocks; new energy vehicle concept stocks rebounded, with XPeng and NIO both rising over 2%
