Liu Liumei Shares Climb Nearly 6% on Hong Kong Exchange
Liu Liumei (6658.HK) climbed nearly 6% during regular trading to HK$154.700, with turnover of approximately HK$14.62 million.
The share jumped on renewed market attention over its "LLM" abbreviation resembling "large language model." Listed on the Hong Kong exchange on June 15, the stock surged 193.71% on its IPO debut before hitting an all-time high of HK$165 on June 22.
However, the company faces structural challenges. Its plum-based snacks account for less than 2% of the overall snack market, and both revenue and net profit are expected to decline in the second half of 2025 despite attempts to expand into new categories.
